In 2025, KOMMSE ÜCKEN?! also took place on four Saturdays throughout the year in the Ückendorf district of Gelsenkirchen. Theatre in pubs, techno in vacant spaces, performances in backyards — the Kollektiv Ücken continued its established neighborhood format, solidifying its reputation as an experimental cultural festival of the Ruhr area. With the Bochumer Straße urban renewal program in the background, artist fees, technical equipment, and promotion were financed, while the audience attended for free.

The 2025 edition of KOMMSE ÜCKEN?! confirmed the quarterly format: four Saturdays, four programs, all locations along Bochumer Straße. Under the label "Kollektiv Ücken," the neighborhood actors forged an interdisciplinary program that makes the urban renewal of Ückendorf visible — and radiates far into the Ruhr area in terms of underground culture. Direct transition to the 2026 dates on March 14, June 13, September 12, and December 12.
