Overview

The 2025 edition of the Kolkwitz Oktoberfest took place on the German Unity Day weekend. In the marquee at the Kolkwitz-Center, a live band and DJ ensured a full dance floor; on Saturday, the amusement park opened, followed by ceremonial beer tapping, stage program, and dancing. Families from Cottbus, Kolkwitz, and the surrounding area used the public holiday for the local festival.

The 2025 Oktoberfest in Kolkwitz went as usual: on the eve, the heated marquee filled with regulars, families, and curious day-trippers from Berlin. The live band created a great atmosphere, and the long beer tables quickly fostered the relaxed vibe that characterizes the festival.

On Saturday, the program began with the ceremonial beer tapping in front of the marquee. The amusement park attracted families — bumper cars, chain carousel, and children's rides were in operation all day. In the evening, the stage took over again, and the festival ended late at night. The municipality of Kolkwitz drew a positive conclusion to the local festival, which will also take place again on Unity Day in 2026.
