Edition 2025 — Königssee FF Fest
2025 was a preparatory year for the major 2026 anniversary. Throughout the year, the Königssee Volunteer Fire Brigade prepared for the 125th founding anniversary, but maintained its regular schedule as a hub for fire brigade activities by Königssee lake and participated in the popular festivals of neighbouring communities.
The Königssee Volunteer Fire Brigade traditionally does not hold its own major festivals in the years between round anniversaries. In 2025, the Music Band participated in parades in Berchtesgaden, Bischofswiesen, and Ramsau. In parallel, preparations began for the five-day anniversary festival in 2026, which combines the fire brigade, music band, and friends association anniversaries.
In 2025, the Königssee car park served as usual as the entrance to the Königssee boat landing and the terminus for RVO bus line 841 from Berchtesgaden — the logistics of the festival site for 2026 were tested during the peak summer season.
