12th Koblenz Oktoberfest — five weeks of Wiesn atmosphere at the exhibition center every Friday and Saturday
The Koblenz Oktoberfest is a commercial Oktoberfest event that has been successfully held at the Koblenz exhibition center for over a decade. Unlike the traditional Palatinate Kerwen (church festivals), the Koblenz Oktoberfest is clearly modeled after the Munich Wiesn: a large, decorated festival tent with beer benches, blue and white ribbons, hop garlands, and a central stage.
The festival tent opens for five weekends — every Friday and every Saturday from mid-September to mid-October. Admission begins at 5 PM, and the main event lasts until late at night. Themed evenings, such as 'Mallorca Night', 'Cologne Night', or 'Ballermann Party', are a regular feature and attract a young audience.
The menu is classic Bavarian: Schweinshax'n (pork knuckles), Hendl (half chickens), pretzels, Obatzda (cheese spread), Weißwurst (white sausages), currywurst, and fries. Drinks are served in Maßkrugs (liter steins) — Benediktiner Hell is the house brand. Radler (shandy), apple spritzer, and non-alcoholic alternatives are also available.
The Koblenz exhibition center is located in the Wallersheim district, accessible by bus from Koblenz Main Station (line 5 and others). By car, the grounds can be reached via the A 61 motorway (exit Koblenz-Nord). Ample parking is available at the exhibition center.
The 2026 edition is spread over five weekends, totaling ten festival evenings. The exact program for the themed evenings will be announced by the organizer on koblenzer-oktoberfest.de and in the Ditix shop.
