Overview

The 19th Knight Festival Volkspark Potsdam 2025 once again attracted thousands of families to the Großer Wiesenpark at Whitsun. Three days of show fights, theatre, acrobatics, and a medieval market – the proven mix of historical spectacle and family entertainment has developed since 2007 into a firm classic of the event season in the state capital Potsdam.

In 2025, Cocolorus Budenzauber once again transformed Volkspark Potsdam into a medieval festival landscape. Knights, jugglers, musicians, and acrobats showcased their skills on four stages. Knight tournaments with real horses and heavy armour, market stalls with crafts and medieval cuisine, plus an extensive hands-on programme for children – the event's recipe for success remained unchanged.

The highlight of each day was the evening fire show on the central meadow area. The Whitsun weekend marked the start of the three medieval festival weekends that the organiser traditionally offers in May and June.
