Overview

The Knetzger Kerwa 2025 took place from August 29th to September 1st on the festival grounds at the Franz-Hofmann-Halle. The festival opened on Friday at 6 PM with the parade from the new town hall, the raising of the Kirchbaum by the reserve soldiers' association, and the traditional beer tapping. The Musikverein Knetzgau provided the catering, and the Uebel & Sachs amusement park was in operation.

Knetzger Kerwa 2025

For four days, Knetzgau celebrated its Kirchweih at the end of August and beginning of September 2025. The opening on Friday at 6 PM featured the parade, raising of the Kirchbaum, and beer tapping. Festival operations began at 3 PM on Saturday and at 1:30 PM on Sunday, following the festival service.

Program

The Musikverein Knetzgau provided catering in the festival tent with Franconian cuisine and beer. The Uebel & Sachs amusement park attracted visitors from the entire Haßberge region with its bumper cars, children's carousels, and shooting galleries. Sports and local clubs offered their traditional stalls – especially the TSV Knetzgau with Entenpfeffer on Friday. The main Kerwa Sunday (August 31st) culminated in a home game for FC Knetzgau.
