About Klosterbeben

Klosterbeben is Hude's largest Rock and Heavy Metal festival and is growing significantly in its third edition after two successful runs. On June 12th and 13th, 2026, 13 bands will perform at the Waldstadion Hude — an unusual open-air setting with a natural location and a developed festival atmosphere.

Headliners are Below Zero (Friday) and Rising Insane (Saturday). The lineup is completed by acts such as Kabila, Employer, Northerion, Unchained Horizon, Tweelbäker Büdeltrecker, About Monsters, Breforth, Madelyns Gun, Gebrüder Manns. The organizer is the Kulturverein Hude. On-site camping, own festival beer brand, regional food trucks.

Third Klosterbeben — Significant Growth

After the pioneering editions in 2024 and 2025, Klosterbeben 2026 will be significantly larger. With 13 bands over two days, two headliners, and an expanded infrastructure setup, the festival is positioning itself as a new fixture for the rock and metal scene in northwestern Lower Saxony. The organizers from Kulturverein Hude expect around 1,200 festival guests.

Headliners and Line-up 2026

The lineup features German and North German rock/metal acts. Headliner on Friday, June 12th, is Below Zero — a band with a clear heavy profile. Saturday is headlined by Rising Insane, an established name in the German metalcore scene. Other confirmed bands: Kabila, Employer, Northerion, Unchained Horizon (Friday), Tweelbäker Büdeltrecker, About Monsters, Breforth, Madelyns Gun, Gebrüder Manns (Saturday).

Waldstadion Hude

The Waldstadion on the outskirts of Hude combines stadium character with a forest atmosphere — a rare combination that gives Klosterbeben its visual identity. The grandstand, playing field, and surrounding forest areas can be used for the stage, tents, and relaxation zones. This location has become the festival's true hallmark.

Camping, Food Trucks, Own Beer

Camping is offered on-site, allowing for a full festival stay. Regional food trucks provide visitors with street food, and the official Klosterbeben festival beer is part of the concept. With this infrastructure, the festival caters to classic open-air fans who see festivals not as a day trip but as a weekend experience.

Kulturverein Hude

The organizer is Kulturverein Hude, which also organizes other cultural formats beyond Klosterbeben — such as the medieval family festival at the Hude Dormitory or the Hude Monastery Summer concert series at the Klostermühle. With Klosterbeben, the association established a new format in 2024 that adds a distinct rock/metal profile to Hude's summer.

Klosterbeben — edition 2026

The third edition of Klosterbeben Hude takes place from June 12th to 13th, 2026, at the Waldstadion Hude. 13 bands from Rock and Heavy Metal are spread across two festival days — Below Zero is the headliner on Friday, Rising Insane on Saturday. On-site camping, Klosterbeben festival beer, regional food trucks.

Tickets available via klosterbeben.de and Eventim Light. Organizer: Kulturverein Hude.

Two-Day Open-Air

The two festival days on the weekend of June 12th and 13th, 2026, each feature their own lineup and headliner. The stage at the Waldstadion will be active throughout the day — late afternoon slots for the opening bands, the main slot for the headliners around midnight. Camping allows for the full festival experience on-site.

Klosterbeben Festival Beer

The festival has its own beer labels in cooperation with a regional brewery. This positions Klosterbeben as a developed festival with its own identity — and creates an element that many festival-goers particularly appreciate.
