Overview

The fifth edition of „Kloster Seeon rocks!“ took place in the summer of 2025 on the peninsula at Klostersee lake. As in previous years, the trainees of the Kloster Seeon Culture and Education Centre, in cooperation with Radio BUH, presented a mixed program of regional newcomer bands and established acts. Free admission — the concept of a festival organization supported by vocational training proved successful again in 2025.

The 2025 edition continued the young festival format. On the monastery peninsula — directly on the shore of Klostersee lake — the trainees of the Culture and Education Centre offered their practical contribution to training in event management. Hip-hop, rap-rock, and Bavarian dialect rock characterized the musical landscape.

Kloster Seeon — a Benedictine abbey founded in 994 — provided the historic backdrop with its three-towered monastery church and the peninsula close to the lake. Free admission, catering on-site. The District of Upper Bavaria, as the sponsor of the cultural center, ensures the financial basis of the event.
