The premiere of the Kleinstadt-Open-Air Mölln is scheduled for 2026. In 2025, conceptual work and the application phase for the first edition took place in preparation — the city invited associations, restaurateurs, and stall operators to register, and the program framework for the new festival was prepared in the Mölln Kurpark.

2025 — Preparation for the Premiere

As the Kleinstadt-Open-Air celebrates its premiere in September 2026, no edition took place in 2025. Tourismus- und Stadtmarketing Mölln used the year for concept development, initial bookings (mahoin, AbbaFever, UNITED4 as confirmed acts), acquiring stall operators, and infrastructure planning in the Kurpark.

As early as 2025, an online registration for stall operators was launched, with applications processed via stadtmarketing-moelln.de. The Local Stage was established as a platform for the regional scene from Mölln and the district of Herzogtum Lauenburg. Experience from Mölln's annual events such as the Eulenspiegel Festival and the Town Festival was incorporated into the planning.
