Edition 2025 — Kleinpfingsten Steigra
The traditional Pentecost festival of the Steiersche Pfingstburschen took place in 2025 on the Pentecost weekend. Parade in traditional costume, maypole climbing, and dance evenings in the festival tent. Dress rehearsal for the big anniversary in 2026.
As every year, the Pfingstburschen paraded through Steigra in white shirts and hats adorned with ribbons, collected eggs and bacon, and erected the Pfingstmaie on the village square. The competition for the Pfingstmaie was won by a young man from the neighboring village — the festival concluded with dancing and wine on Whit Monday.
