Concerts in the Courtyard of the Frank-Loebsche Haus

The Frank-Loebsche Haus in Landau's old town is a historic Renaissance building and today houses the "Frank-Loebsches Haus" meeting center with a library and exhibition rooms. Its courtyard – an enclosed space surrounded by old walls – provides the ideal backdrop for summer open-air concerts with a chamber music atmosphere.

Kulturzentrum Altstadt

For decades, Kulturzentrum Altstadt e.V. (KuZ) has been a significant contributor to Landau's cultural life. In addition to its venue at Stiftsplatz with its year-round concert program, the association organizes the Kleine Montagsreihe as an open-air event in the summer.

Five Evenings of Concerts

The series comprises five evenings in 2026: July 13 and 20, and August 3 and 10. The program alternates between jazz, singer-songwriter, world, folk, and more experimental formats. Each evening has its own profile; concerts begin at 8 PM.

Character and Atmosphere

The charm of the Kleine Montagsreihe lies in the combination of concert and encounter. The courtyard can accommodate a manageable number of visitors; the proximity to the stage and the acoustics of the enclosed courtyard make the concerts a special experience. In case of bad weather, an indoor venue will be used.

The series is one of the summer formats offered by Kulturzentrum Altstadt to complement its regular season. It provides a stage for both young and established acts and appeals to a curious, quality-conscious audience.
