The premiere of the modern Klassik Open Air in Coburg took place on July 5, 2025, in the Rosengarten. The Coburg State Theatre Philharmonic Orchestra offered a symphony concert under the open sky, made possible by donations from local patrons totaling over €40,000. The initiators were city councillors Petra Schneider, Bettina Lesch-Lasaridis, and Sabine Kastner.

Over 5,000 visitors came to the Rosengarten at the Kongresshaus, spread out their picnic blankets, and enjoyed the symphony concert. The success ensured the immediate continuation of the Klassik Open Air in the summer of 2026.
