Klassik am Odeonsplatz

In 2025, Klassik am Odeonsplatz celebrated its 25th anniversary. As has been the tradition since 2000, Odeonsplatz transformed into Munich's largest open-air concert hall over a July weekend. Again, the city's two resident orchestras performed with prominent conductors and soloists, and again, the stands were sold out far in advance.

The anniversary underscored the festival's significance for the city's musical life: for a quarter of a century, Klassik am Odeonsplatz has combined top-class classical music under the open sky with the unique backdrop of Munich's Residenz architecture. Mercedes-Benz Munich and BayernLB have supported the festival as main partners since its inception.
