Edition 2025 — Klaragassen-Kärwa
The 2025 edition of the Klaragassenfest took place from September 12th to 14th, filling Nuremberg's Klaragasse with live music, Franconian Kärwa tradition, and a dense program of concerts, street art, and family activities for three days. Frankenradar officially listed the festival as Klaragassen-Kärwa 2025.
Klaragassenfest 2025 in Retrospect
In 2025, Klaragasse was once again transformed into a car-free festival mile. The organizers (Klaragasse & Freunde e.V. with Nürnberger City Werkstatt) once again focused on a mix of classic Kärwa customs and urban indie culture.
What was on offer
- Beer tapping on Friday evening, followed by live music in the venues and on the alley stage
- Saturday: Street art events, comic sales, concerts in the indie, folk, and pop genres
- Sunday: Family day with interactive program, face painting, and Frühschoppen
Despite the changeable weather, a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere prevailed over the three days, confirming the Klaragassenfest as one of the most distinctive summer festivals in Nuremberg's Old Town.
