The klangrevier festival is a festival taking place for the first time in 2026. In the preceding years of 2025, the founding and conception phase took place: the association KlangRevier Kamp-Lintfort e.V. was founded, the Schirrhof location was secured, the festival concept was developed, and initial artist contracts were concluded.

2025 Founding Phase — No Festival, but Preparation

The klangrevier festival will have its premiere on September 12, 2026 — there was no festival edition before this date. The preparation phase in 2025 included the founding of the association KlangRevier Kamp-Lintfort e.V., securing the Schirrhof location as the event venue, developing the concept for the festival format, ticket prices, and family concept, as well as initial contract negotiations with bands for the premiere edition.

The city of Kamp-Lintfort and the association are pursuing a long-term concept with klangrevier: a recurring festival that will profile the city as a cultural location in the Lower Rhine. The 2026 premiere is the starting signal for a format that is intended to grow in the following years.
