Overview

The Kitzingen Spring Festival 2025 took place in April on the Bleichwasen — the 74th edition of the Lower Franconian spring Volksfest. The festival tent, carousel classics, Children's Day, and Happy Hour formed the familiar framework. Thousands of visitors from the Kitzingen district and the wider Main region used the festival as the kick-off for the spring festival season in Franconia.

In 2025, the Spring Festival once again attracted its usual crowd from Kitzingen, Iphofen, Volkach, Marktbreit, and the surrounding Main towns to the Bleichwasen. The amusement park by Uebel & Sachs once again focused on a balanced mix of classics and newer high-speed attractions.

Wednesday as Children's Day and Thursday as Happy Hour once again proved to be crowd-pullers for families from the region. In the festival tent, regional bands provided the evening's musical entertainment. The 2025 Spring Festival thus paved the way for the 2026 anniversary celebration (75th edition).
