Overview

The Kirwa Reichenschwand 2025 took place from July 24 to 28 at the Reichenschwand festival grounds. The Kirchweihverein Reichenschwand e.V. organized the four-day festival weekend with Kirwabaum, festival tent, and Franconian catering program in the Central Franconian Pegnitz Valley.

The 2025 edition of Kirwa Reichenschwand confirmed the revival of the event after pandemic-related interruptions. From July 24 to 28, 2025, Kirwabuam and Kirwamadla attracted guests from Reichenschwand and the entire Nürnberger Land region with their dances, the Kirwabaum erection, and the festival tent catering.

Franconian tradition came alive once again in the Pegnitz Valley: traditional costumes, traditional dances, the festival tent, and the festival Sunday characterized the weekend. With this edition, the Kirchweihverein Reichenschwand reaffirmed its role as the organizing association for an important piece of Franconian festival culture.
