In 2025, Chamerau also celebrated its Kirta around the feast day of Peter and Paul. The raising of the Kirtabaum by the local clubs and the patronal feast service in St. Peter and Paul brought together the village community and holiday guests, catered by the KLJB.
The Kirta in Chamerau 2025 continued the living tradition surrounding the patronal feast of the parish church of St. Peter and Paul. As every year around June 29, the Kirtabaum was erected on the church square on Friday evening through precise joint effort by all local clubs, followed by the patronal feast service on Kirta Sunday. The Catholic Youth (KLJB) Chamerau provided catering for visitors and holiday guests – an authentic highlight in the festival calendar of the Bavarian Forest.
