Overview

The 55th Franconian Cherry Festival Pretzfeld took place from July 18 to 23, 2025, at the Pretzfeld cellar. With the opening by the Pretzfeld Music Association, beer tapping by Mayor Steffen Lipfert and the Cherry Queen, as well as the grand parade on Sunday, the festival followed its proven schedule.

The 55th edition of the Franconian Cherry Festival attracted numerous visitors to the Pretzfeld cellar again from July 18 to 23, 2025. It opened on Friday at 5:00 PM with festival operations, at 6:30 PM with the Pretzfeld Music Association, and at 7:00 PM with the beer tapping by Mayor Steffen Lipfert in the presence of the Cherry Queen and numerous guests.

On Sunday, the grand parade led from the school through the village up to the Kellerwald. Monday offered an early morning pint session at 10:00 AM with music by "Manfred Kemmerth und CO." and from 7:00 PM onwards, dance music with "X-Large". The festival host was Mike Schmitt from the Nikl brewery.
