The Kirmes Röttgen 2025 took place as usual on the last weekend of August — three days of village fair at the Herzogsfreudenweg festival grounds in the Bonn district of Röttgen. Organizer Festausschuss Röttgen-Ückesdorf once again brought together residents from Röttgen, Ückesdorf, and the surrounding residential areas. Highlights in 2025, as in previous years, were the Sauerbraten dinner on Saturday morning and the festival tent program on all three evenings.

Kirmes Röttgen 2025 — District Tradition on Bonn's Western Edge

The 2025 edition followed the proven concept of a village fair: showman stalls, festival tent program, family offerings — without a large-scale spectacle approach. The Festausschuss Röttgen-Ückesdorf coordinated the program, with local clubs involved as usual.

The traditional Sauerbraten dinner on Saturday morning once again proved to be a culinary highlight in 2025 — Rhenish Sauerbraten, prepared by the Festausschuss, served in the festival tent, a specialty that connects generations in Röttgen. The positive feedback from the 2025 edition led to the direct confirmation of the 2026 date by the Festausschuss.
