541st Kirchweihmarkt Anger (Angerer Kirtag)

The 540th edition of the Angerer Kirtag took place in early May 2025 – traditionally on Sunday and Monday on the village square. Market traders, amusement rides, and Upper Bavarian brass music created the typical Kirtag atmosphere. Even 540 years after its first documented mention in 1485, the Angerer Kirtag remained one of the most important folk festivals in the Berchtesgadener Land.
