Edition 2025 — Kirchweihdult Freising
The Kirchweihdult Freising 2025 took place as every year in October at Marienplatz and in the city center. Three days of stalls, Sunday opening hours with almost all city center shops, Dult food with pretzels and grilled fish on a stick. As always in the mild Bavarian autumn, one of Upper Bavaria's coziest city festivals.
In 2025, the Kirchweihdult once again characterized the cityscape of Freising's center for three days. Aktive City Freising e.V. organized the Sunday opening hours, which combined the Dult stalls with regular city center retail. Food stalls offered classic Dult cuisine, and the autumn weather made for relaxed strolling between Marienplatz and Domberg.
The Dult confirmed its importance in Freising's festival calendar – as the autumn counterpart to the traditional Palmdult in spring and a companion through the transition into October.
