Overview
In 2025, the traditional Kärwa was also celebrated in the Unterferrieden district of Burgthann. Three festival days with beer tapping, a festive church service, and a festival tent program attracted residents from the Nürnberger Land region and the Burgthann districts. The Kärwa Unterferrieden is one of seven annual Kirchweihen in the municipality and a vibrant piece of Middle Franconian festival culture.
The Kirchweih Unterferrieden 2025, as usual, spanned an extended weekend in August. The festival tent, festive church service, and hospitality from local associations characterized the three days.
Like the other Burgthann Kärwa events, Unterferrieden remained an authentic village gathering in 2025 – featuring a Kirchweih tree, Frühschoppen, and a lively atmosphere in the festival tent.
