The festive church service, convivial gatherings in the inns, and events by the Staudach clubs characterized this traditional autumn festival in the Achental valley. The local afternoon closure of the town hall and municipal works department on Kirchweih Monday once again underscored how deeply the Kirta is rooted in community life and how vibrantly Bavarian customs are maintained in the Traunstein district.
