Edition 2025 — Speck-Alm Kirchweih
The Kirchweih-Sonntag on the Speck-Alm in 2025 took place on the third weekend of October on the Oberes Sudelfeld. As every year, the large duck and goose feast with live music was the central highlight of the day – a true Upper Bavarian Kirta tradition in the Mangfall Mountains.
In 2025, the Speck-Alm continued its long-standing tradition of Kirta-Sonntag on the Oberes Sudelfeld. Guests from the Mangfall Valley, Inn Valley, and Munich enjoyed duck and goose (Ganserl) from the Alm kitchen, along with draft beer, homemade sweet pastries, and Bavarian inn music. The alpine atmosphere with views of the Sudelfeld makes the day special.
The Kirta-Sonntag on the Speck-Alm is considered one of the most beautiful dates in the autumn calendar in the Tegernsee and Mangfall region – not least because of the hearty Alm cuisine and its direct connection to hiking tours around the Sudelfeld.
