Overview

The Schwamer Kärm 2025 took place on the third weekend of September with the classic program — Schnickerles, Leberklöß, Kirchweihbaum erection, village dances, Plan round. A Nachkirchweih on September 27th/28th extended the festival for regular guests.

The 2025 edition of the Schwamer Kärm has once again proven that a small Lower Franconian community can keep a Kirchweih tradition fully and authentically alive. The Plan and Fichtenbursch traditionally erected the Planbaum using muscle power, the Plan couples opened the Franconian village dances on Sunday afternoon, and on Monday the Plan round paraded through the village. This was followed on September 27th/28th by the Nachkirchweih, a smaller repeat for the people of Schwebheim and loyal guests.

Highlights

Kirchweihbaum erection using muscle power, Franconian village dances, Plan round, Nachkirchweih on the last weekend of September.
