Overview
The Rollhofener Kirwa 2025 took place on the second weekend in August, continuing the Franconian Kärwa tradition: raising of the Kärwabaum, festival tent with dance music, festival service, parade, and Kärwa sermon by the Kärwaboum. The organizers were again the Kirchweihteam Rollhofen e.V. and the FFW Rollhofen.
The 2025 edition of the Rollhofener Kirwa continued the village's long festival tradition. For four days, the festival tent, Kärwabaum, and parade characterized the village scene — the Kärwaboum led the parade and delivered the traditional Kärwa sermon on Monday.
The festival is increasingly supported by the younger generation year after year: the "Rollhofener Kirwa Ausfahrt" organized by younger participants has now become a distinct ancillary event of the Kirwa weekend.
