Overview
As every year, Pfofeld celebrated its Kirchweih in October 2025 with a beer tent, festive church service, and showmen. The highlight was the traditional performance by the folk dance group on Kirchweih Sunday, presenting old Franconian dances like the Fränkischer Dreher and the Zwiefacher in traditional costume – a living piece of custom passed down from generation to generation since 1985.
The festival was part of the dense Kirchweih calendar of the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district, with festivals in Langlau, Thannhausen, Absberg, and Pfofeld itself, among others.
