Overview
The 2025 Kerwa in Oberscheinfeld took place on the third weekend of October with the classic festival program. Mayor Sendner looked forward to the Kirchweih, as reported by the Fränkische Landeszeitung in advance. Five days of festivities with beer tapping, raising of the Kirchweih tree, Sunday church service, festive parade, and the 'Auspflanzen' characterized the Steigerwald Kerwa.
The 2025 edition followed the established format of the Oberscheinfeld Kerwa. Raising of the Kirchweih tree on Thursday, four days of festival tent and tavern operations, festive church service and parade on Sunday, and the 'Auspflanzen' on Kerwa Monday.
The market town of Oberscheinfeld and the local Kirchweih society have jointly organized the festival for decades. Guests from the neighboring Steigerwald towns of Scheinfeld, Schornweisach, and Markt Bibart make the Kerwa a regional meeting point.
