Overview

In 2025, the Nuremberg district of Mögeldorf also celebrated its traditional Kärwa over the Pentecost weekend at the Satzinger Mühle festival grounds. The beer tapping ceremony, Kärwazug parade, beer Olympics, and dancing once again made the district festival a highlight of Franconian customs.

The Kirchweih Mögeldorf 2025 continued the long-standing Kärwa tradition of the Nuremberg district. Over the Pentecost weekend, the Mögeldorf Kärwabuam and Madla enlivened the festival grounds at Satzinger Mühle.

As every year, the festival followed the traditional schedule with a beer tapping ceremony, a Kärwazug parade through the district, the Beer Olympics, and a concluding festive church service with dancing. The 2025 edition once again confirmed the vitality of Franconian Kirchweih customs in the big city and laid the foundation for the 2026 Kärwa.
