Overview

The Muhrer Kirchweih 2025 took place as is traditional around the last weekend of July at the Altenmuhr town hall square. Four days of festival tent program, organized by the municipality of Muhr am See together with local clubs, brought together locals and guests from the Franconian Lake District. The combination of village Kerwa and summer on the Altmühlsee makes the event a tourist and village meeting point every year.

Kerwa 2025 in Altenmuhr

In 2025, Altenmuhr again held its Kerwa at the end of July. A festival tent in front of the town hall, a beer tapping ceremony on Friday, the main festival evening on Saturday, a festival service and Kerwa parade on Sunday, and a closing event on Monday – the schedule followed the proven pattern of the Franconian summer Kerwa.

The Muhrer Kirchweih 2025 was part of the vibrant summer event calendar of the Franconian Lake District – with a summer festival on the Altmühlsee, town festivals in Gunzenhausen and Weißenburg, and numerous other Kerwas in the region.
