Overview

The Lauter Kirchweih 2025 took place, as is traditional, at the beginning of August in the main village. Four days of festival tent activities with beer tapping, live music, Franconian festival cuisine, and the Kerwa parade on Sunday. The local clubs voluntarily organized the program, and the Bamberg Kirchweih calendar documented the event in the official Kerwa calendar of the Bamberg district.

Kerwa 2025 in Lauter

In 2025, the main village of Lauter also adhered to its classic Kerwa date at the beginning of August. The four-part festival rhythm with beer tapping, main festival evening, family day, and festival Sunday was well attended as always. With the Kerwa parade on Sunday and catering by local clubs, the event joined the long tradition of the Franconian Kerwa in the Bamberg district.

The Lauter Kerwa remained the central Kirchweih of the municipality in 2025 – complemented by the smaller Kirchweihen in Appendorf, Leppelsdorf, and Deusdorf, all documented in the official Bamberg Kirchweih calendar.
