In 2025, Hohenburg also celebrated its traditional Kirchweih on the last weekend of July on the town hall forecourt. The Kirwaleit Hohenburg e.V. kept the Upper Palatinate customs alive with the Kirwa tree, dancing, and catering.
The Kirchweih Hohenburg 2025 continued the Kirwa tradition of the market town. With the Kirwa tree, the dance of the Kirwa couples, brass music, and convivial catering on the town hall forecourt, the village community gathered with its guests in the Lauterachtal.
