Edition 2025 — Kirchweih Höchheim
The Höchheim Kirchweih 2025 took place on the first weekend of October in the festival tent. The Burschenverein organized four days of festivities with the traditional customs: high mass, Hutbinden, wreath procession, and Gögerschlag on the festival Sunday. Live bands provided entertainment in the festival tent on all evenings.
Kirchweih 2025 in the Festival Tent
As every year, Höchheim celebrated its traditional Burschenkirchweih at the beginning of October 2025. The Burschenverein opened on Thursday evening with a beer tapping, and on the following three festival days, live bands, church service, Hutbinden, and wreath procession alternated.
On Sunday, the high mass took place in the parish church, followed by the Burschen and Kerwesmadla parading through the village. The Gögerschlag and the collection of donations on Monday concluded the Kirchweih as usual. The free admission also made the festival tent attractive to visitors from the surrounding Grabfeld communities.
