Edition 2025 — Kärwa Großreuth
The Großreuth Kärwa near Schweinau 2025 took place in June at the Alte Wallensteinstraße festival grounds. Four days of traditional Franconian Kirchweih with Kärwabaum, festival tent, rides, and beer from local breweries. One of around 40 district Kirchweihen that Nuremberg celebrates every year.
Kärwa 2025
As every year, the Nuremberg district of Großreuth near Schweinau celebrated its traditional district Kärwa in June 2025 at the Alte Wallensteinstraße festival grounds. Four days of festivities with the classic Franconian Kerwa program attracted visitors from the district and neighboring areas like Schweinau, Gibitzenhof, and Sündersbühl.
The Kärwabaum dancing on Saturday, the festival tent with live music, and the rides for families formed the usual program. The event was organized by the City of Nuremberg via the Real Estate Department and supported by the local festival committee and district associations.
