Proven Kerwa in the Aischgrund
In 2025, Gerhardshofen once again adhered to its traditional Kerwa format. The festival marquee, supported by local clubs, offered its program of beer tapping, dance evenings, and a festival service from Friday evening to Monday.
Club Life as the Backbone
As is typical throughout the Aischgrund, local clubs are the backbone of the festival marquee – the 'Burschenverein' (young men's association), 'Mädelsverein' (young women's association), marksmen, fire brigade, and sports club take turns with setup, serving, and the festival procession. This volunteer structure has ensured the continuation of the Gerhardshofen Kerwa for decades.
