Overview

The Kirchweih in Fessenheim 2025 took place in mid-September following the established four-day schedule. Festival opening on Friday, dance music on Saturday, Kirchweih Sunday with a festive church service and morning pint (Frühschoppen), Kirchweih-Montag as a conclusion. The clubs of the Wechingen municipality and the local parish contributed to the festival program as they do every year.

In 2025, the Kirchweih once again brought together the village of Fessenheim and its neighboring communities for the traditional late summer festival. The community center served as the main festival hall, and the local brass band provided the musical backdrop — from the festive morning pint on Sunday to dance music on Saturday evening.

The connection between club life, parish, and village community has shaped the Kirchweih in Fessenheim for decades. Sunday, with its festive church service and lunch, remains the central reunion date of the year for regular and former residents of the region.
