Overview

The Emskirchen Kirchweih 2025 took place from Friday, August 22 to Tuesday, August 26. The traditional Kerwa parade started at 5:15 PM at the old brewery and kicked off five days of festival tent, amusement rides, and customs. Highlights included, as always, the duck race on the Aurach, the Frühschoppen with brass music, and the grand fireworks to conclude the festival.

The 2025 edition of the Emskirchen Kerwa ran as usual on the fourth weekend in August over five festival days. The Kerwa parade on Friday marked the traditional start, and hundreds of visitors lined the Aurach for the duck race, organized by the shooting club.

In the festival tent, dance bands and brass music ensured full attendance. The emotional highlight was the fireworks on the last festival evening around 10:15 PM, after the performance of the top band in the festival tent – a spectacle that is traditional in the Franconian Kerwa calendar.
