Overview

In 2025, Ebensfeld also celebrated its traditional Kirchweih around the third Sunday in September at the fire station. With the Kirchweih tree, festivities for all generations, Frühschoppen, and a family program, the local clubs maintained the Upper Franconian traditional custom in the Lichtenfels district.

The Kirchweih Ebensfeld 2025 followed the long tradition of the Upper Franconian Kerwa. At the fire station on Rinnigstraße, the village community gathered for the festive weekend: the erection of the Kirchweih tree, a youth evening, festivities for all generations, and the Sunday Frühschoppen with warm lunch and family activities formed the heart of the program. Supported by the local clubs, the festival once again confirmed the vibrant Kirchweih culture in the market town of Ebensfeld and the Obermain-Jura region.
