The Burker Kärwa 2025 took place at the beginning of July. Several days of festivities around the church square with Schlachtschüsselessen, raising of the Kärwabaum, beer tapping, Sunday opening for shopping, Weißwurstfrühstück, and Geldbeutelwäsche to conclude.

Burker Kärwa 2025 — Review

The Burker Kärwa 2025 once again confirmed that the Middle Franconian village fully embraces its Kirchweih tradition. For several days, the church square transformed into a festival ground with all the classic elements of local custom.

The Kerwa-Buam erected the Kärwabaum, and the beer tapping by the mayor marked the official start. The Sunday opening for shopping featured a varied program with Weißwurstfrühstück, the CVJM coffee afternoon, and kindergarten performances — the 'Geldbeutelwäsche' at the end on Monday evening is one of the humorous Middle Franconian Kirchweih customs particularly cherished in Burk.
