Overview

The Kirchweih Buchenbühl 2025 was celebrated over a weekend in July around the Paulusstein, as in previous years. Residents of the district and guests from the surrounding Nuremberg neighborhoods took advantage of the festival for bratwurst, festival beer, and a short carousel ride.

The City of Nuremberg has listed the Kirchweih Buchenbühl as a fixed date in its summer calendar for years. In 2025, the four-day festival operation proceeded without major changes: opening on Friday, live music evenings on weekend nights, family program on Sunday, and festival conclusion on Monday.

As with many Nuremberg district Kirchweihen, the character remained village-like – not a big spectacle, but a meeting point for residents at a location with historical significance thanks to the Paulusstein. The festival gained attention beyond the district borders mainly through Nuremberg's district websites and local press.
