Edition 2025 — Behringersdorfer Kirchweih
The Behringersdorf Kirchweih 2025 took place from June 13th to 16th in the Sophienpark of Schwaig's Behringersdorf district. The weekend combined live music, a beach volleyball tournament on three sand courts, the erection of the Kirwabaum, the beer tapping by Mayor Ruth Thurner, and a festival service into a packed program. The Kirchweihverein Behringersdorf was once again responsible for the organization.
Behringersdorf Kirchweih 2025
In 2025, the Kärwa in Sophienpark once again relied on the proven format: a beach volleyball tournament with ten teams as the sporting kickoff, beer tapping by the mayor, Kirwabaum erection, and a festival service on Sunday. Live bands performed on several evenings, accompanied by a children's program on Monday and the traditional festival finale.
Special Features
As in previous years, the Kirchweihverein surprised with a themed special performance on Sunday morning. The new location concept in Sophienpark proved successful again – the combination of traditional Kärwa and modern elements (beach volleyball, themed performance) has become the hallmark of the Behringersdorf Kirchweih in Middle Franconia.
