In 2025, the municipality of Altenthann also celebrated its traditional Kirchweih in June – with a festive church service, festival activities with brass band music, and convivial gatherings as living Bavarian customs in the district of Regensburg.
The 2025 edition of the Kirchweih Altenthann continued the long tradition of the village festival. In June, the village center transformed into a meeting point for living Bavarian customs.
As every year, the program was characterized by a festive church service, festival activities with brass band music, and convivial gatherings – an authentic village festival in the Bavarian Vorderwald east of Regensburg.
