The Kinderfasching of KV Bruchkatze Ramstein has been a firm fixture on the carnival calendar of the Westpfalz region for many years. The organizer is the carnival club Bruchkatze, which, with its dance guards, the "Elferrat" (council of eleven), and its "Bütt" (comedy stage), is one of the most active carnival clubs in the Ramstein-Miesenbach administrative district.
Venue
The Congress Center Ramstein (CCR) is one of the largest event venues in the Kaiserslautern district and the standard location for KV Bruchkatze's major events, including gala sessions, "Kappensitzungen" (carnival sessions), and the Kinderfasching. The CCR offers ample space for several hundred guests, a spacious stage, a dance floor, and catering.
Program Concept
The Kinderfasching is designed as a shared carnival experience for parents and children. The young guards of KV Bruchkatze present their rehearsed dances on stage, a moderation team guides the program, and the dance floor is open for children between stage performances. Participation activities such as musical chairs (Stopptanz), limbo, and conga lines are part of the program, as are carnival hits and child-friendly party songs.
KV Bruchkatze Ramstein
The carnival club Bruchkatze e.V. was founded in the 1980s and has shaped the carnival scene in the region ever since. Particularly well-known are the Kinderfasching, the grand gala session, and the participation in the local carnival parade. The club name "Bruchkatze" (brook cat) humorously refers to the damp meadows around Ramstein.
