Edition 2025 — Children's Festival Lauchhammer
The 2025 Children's and Family Festival took place on June 1, 2025, in Lauchhammer-West Castle Park. With a stage program by regional school groups, a children's flea market, bouncy castles, a carousel, and a park railway, the Children's Day festival attracted many families from Niederlausitz and the adjacent Saxon Upper Lusatia.
The 2025 Children's and Family Festival confirmed the tradition: on June 1, Lauchhammer-West Castle Park opened its gates for families from all over Niederlausitz. With school groups, puppet theater, craft stalls, and the classic children's flea market, the event established itself as the city's central Children's Day festival — forming the basis for the 2026 edition.
