Edition 2025 — Christmas Village Kiel
The Kiel Christmas Village 2025, under the motto "Romantic. Nordic. Real.", ran from November 20th to December 23rd. The gnome Ki(e)lian attracted families with three daily gnome flight shows at Rathausplatz and Holstenplatz. Closed on Totensonntag (November 23rd). Daily 11 AM–9 PM, Fri./Sat. until 10 PM.
2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Kiel Christmas Village was consistently themed around the gnome concept for the first time. Ki(e)lian, the city's mascot gnome, shaped the presentation — from the poster campaign and gnome flights to merchandise and accompanying program. The three locations Rathausplatz, Holstenplatz, and Asmus-Bremer-Platz/Bootshafen remained unchanged.
Programme
Gnome flights daily at 3 PM, 5 PM, and 7 PM on Rathausplatz. Concerts and choirs on the main stage in rotation. Market stalls daily 11 AM–9 PM, Fri./Sat. until 10 PM. Closed on Totensonntag.
