Overview
In 2025, the district of Birk also celebrated its traditional Kerwa in July. The Kerwa church service took place on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 9:30 AM, embedded in the proven multi-day Kerwa program.
The Kerwa Birk 2025 followed the traditional Franconian schedule: Krenfleisch and Kerwa specialties on Friday evening, Aufspielen der Kerwabuam on Saturday, and Kerwa Sunday with a festive church service (July 27, 2025, 9:30 AM), Weißwurst breakfast, lunch, and afternoon coffee and cake. Supported by the commitment of the small local community, the Kerwa once again confirmed its importance as the most significant village festival of the year in Birk.
