XIII. International Ceramics Symposium Römhild

Preparation Year 2025

The year 2025 was dedicated to the preparation of the XIII Symposium. The support association Förderverein Internationales Keramiksymposium Römhild published the open call for applications themed «Metamorphosis – Ceramics in the Change of Cultures». Ceramic artists from all over Europe could submit their applications until September 30th, 2025.

A jury of experts selected eight artists for participation from the received applications. The selected artists were informed by the end of December 2025. In parallel, the board and team worked on preparing the studio spaces at Glücksburg Castle, as well as logistics, the catalogue, and the accompanying programme.
