Overview
In 2025, the Kelheimer Volksfest also took place at Pflegerspitz on the Danube. With a parade from Ludwigsplatz, a beer tent, Lower Bavarian dance bands, and free admission, the festival confirmed its position as one of the central Volksfests in Lower Bavaria. Marksmen, traditional costume groups, and music bands from the town and district participated in the parade.
The 2025 Volksfest in Kelheim followed the proven program: parade from Ludwigsplatz, beer tapping on opening day, and several festival days in the beer tent at Pflegerspitz.
As in previous years, the Kelheim associations were involved with creativity and tradition. With its unique location on the Danube and the Liberation Hall as a backdrop, the festival confirmed its status as a summer highlight of Lower Bavaria.
