Edition 2024 — Volksfest Kaufering
The 33rd Kaufering Volksfest took place from September 6 to 9, 2024, at the Festplatz Bayernstraße. It opened on Thursday evening with the festival parade of the Kaufering brass band and the beer tapping by 1st Mayor Thomas Salzberger. Four days of beer tent, amusement rides, a festival parade on Friday, and a senior citizens' afternoon on Sunday.
The 33rd Kaufering Volksfest was celebrated from September 6 to 9, 2024, at the Festplatz Bayernstraße. At the opening on Thursday evening, the Kaufering brass band paraded from the town hall to the festival grounds; the mayor's first tap wasn't quite enough, but the second succeeded with the cry "O'zapft is".
The four-day program included the grand festival parade on Friday, the Evening of Clubs and Businesses in the festival tent, a Family Day on Saturday with reduced ride prices and a children's flea market, and the traditional senior citizens' afternoon on Sunday. 1st Mayor Thomas Salzberger thanked the clubs and festival hosts for their commitment at the opening.
